A sad day in Andrea's motorcycle life. She sold her V-Strom today. Even with the lowered links on, the V-Strom was too heavy, too intimidating, and Andrea didn't ride it often enough. It was too overwhelming.

So, now we are looking for something light, still fun, a bike that's good to learn on. Not too high, not too low, not too heavy, but also not too small. This will be a small challenge as the selection here in the US is much smaller than it is for example in Europe for this kind of bike. We'll see what we end up with. Wish us luck!

Something you really don't want to happen is dropping a hex head driver while fastening the screws for a V-Strom windshield with Madstad bracket. What can happen is - you hear it fall, you don't see it anymore and it's gone through an opening above the headlights. It goes then down between the headlights and sits there and there is no easy way to get it out again ...
