After going through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's basic riders class Andrea didn't want to just be passenger on my F800GS, so she got her own toy yesterday. Tomorrow she'll register it in her name, crash bars are ordered and as soon as they are installed, practicing can begin. And as soon as she feels more comfortable, we can do some real touring. I'm really looking forward to it, we'll have a lot of fun.

One of the nice things is that the V-Strom came with a Give topcase plate, so we can fit our Givi Maxia topcase on both bikes now. Maybe we get another one, so we both have the option of carrying a nice trunk for shorter trips or trips where we plan to stay in a hotel and not in the tent.
