Less Noisy Helmet Wanted

Still fighting the noise and headache on the F800GS

Unfortunately, I'm still fighting the wind management on the F800GS. Right now, I'm looking to get a smaller screen that is even smaller than the standard screen on the F800GS to get my neck and head into clean airflow. The Aeroflow windscreen I had gives me a really bad headache after about 30 minutes of riding and highway speed. Not so good. It's droning and I have no idea where it's actually coming from. I'll call Aeroflow today and ask whether they have any ideas.

Another thing: now that my head is back in the wind, I notice again how noisy the Shoei Multitec helmet is. This is really bad, I have to use earplugs even for the shortest ride. It would be really nice if I could get a decent, less noisy flip up helmet here. Something like the Schuberth C3. At least they think about noise and wind management. Hmpf. Not available in the US, have to order from Germany, but I'm not certain about the size. Therefore: no go.

Ah, maybe next time I'm in Germany, I'll pick one up. We'll see. So long I'll deal with ear plugs.

Germany is biker's shopping paradise, just think of Hein Gericke, Polo and Louis. All the fine accessory stores that actually carry decent equipment (even for girls).
I will certainly do some serious stuff shopping when I am heading home for Christmas.
Cheers, S.
