Monster Cable Again

Don't get ripped off!

If you are in any need of buying a HDMI cable, read this first: The Rip

For digital, my advise always was to get the cheapest cable that meets the mechanical requirements and works. Mechanical requirements can include thicker or thinner, or longer or shorter, or gold plated (to last longer), but it should never claim to be "better sounding" on a digital line. That's bullshit. It can't. Zeros are not rounder on a more expensive cable and ones are not slimmer and slicker ... digital either works or it doesn't. You'll see damn well if it doesn't as digital degradation is much worse than analog - as you can certainly here when the music from CD craps out when it can't correct the signal anymore where an old style LP would just make a little cracking noise and that's it.
