Today we did a "Christmas Tour". Sonja and Roland are here over Christmas and Sonja and I decided this morning to go on a short tour with the F800GS.

We did one of my favorite routes in the area: 85 down to Saratoga, Highway 9 up to Skyline Blvd (35), north on Skyline, then down Page Mill Road to 280 and back home. We had both a lot of fun - me driving, Sonja as the passenger. The weather was absolutely perfect: 15 degrees Celsius, sunny, and a wonderful blue sky.

In the afternoon we all went up to San Francisco did a nice walk along The Embarcadero to the Buena Vista Cafe, which was unfortunately closed, so we ended up in a mexican restaurant in the Cannery, which was pretty good - nice appetizers and margaritas.
